1)The final critique was great. I feel that i got a good review, and I have a clear idea of what to work on and whats coming on next.

I have to work on synthesising the research more, get a final list of the characters that will be executed as masks, and decide if the project will be a story telling or an educational version. I got a great feed back and It helped me to see that to do next.

For the winter break my goals are: 

1. Experiment with more materials for the mask making
2. Read the entire Popol Vuh
3. Select the characters I will be using.
4. Talk to people in the field

2) I compare myself to how I was when the semester started and I see a much more clear concept and a solid thesis project. When I started the semester I did not know what to do, then when I came out with the concept I didn’t know what materials use, or what to make with the concept. Later I started prototyping and the current concept started to develop. I feel that I advanced a lot.

3) Check out the ISSUe thing

According to the feedback I received, I will not abandon the Mayan concept! I’m working on finishing the snake mask and see how it looks! After that I might explore more materials or stick to that technique. I need to add color and details. Also I will start introducing some audio to the masks

Im so glad the prototypes happened! Because of it I got a better idea and understanding of what my final project could be! I really liked the feed back I got from other students, but also from teachers. I am excited to be excited again with my project cause I was feeling overwhelmed and I was ready to do something else.
